That depends on how you look at it. If you enjoy your PC being scanned and attacked on a regular basis, firewalls are a bad thing.
I think parental controls are a good thing as well. I don’t want my kids checking out **** and whatnot. Is it censorship? Absolutely not. My house, my computer, my rules.

The decision on the program like sentry parental controls are definitely good thing but parental controls really depend on the person controlling the person controlling the computer yes however personally.
